Steps for a successful charter

1°/ - Determine the locality and the type of boats you want to check out.
The earlier you plan, the better the chance of success.
Work with one of the charterer to find the best boat for your charter party.
The web is helpful for window shopping but you really need to work with a bonafide charter broker to research all current details about the boat and the crew.
With a well-qualified charter-broker you are also assured that your money will be handled with impunity.

2°/ - Once you have choosen one or two options :
Confirm the dates : confirm the point of embarkation and departure.
We can assist in mapping your itinerary, answer any questions and provide you with specific information about the boat.

3°/ - CONTRAT

This makes it official. You will receive contrats to be signed and return with either 25%-50% deposit of the charter fee.
The contrat will include full details of the rates, any extra charges , the term of cancellation, and assurance that the boat will be delivered in sound and seaworthy condition fully prepared for your arrival.

4°/ RECONFIRM

A week prior to start the cruise, the final deposit is due.

5°/ - You will receive preference sheets to fill out and return.
These are the instructions from you to the captain and crew about food, drinks, ( Any special health requirements / special occasions ).
Also your arrival plans and requests for activities ( such as diving that may require special arrangements ).

6°/ - Last Days before embarkation

We will put you in contact with the captain for any last minute requests, and also to confirm with the captain regarding meeting arrangements and alternate plans should you have travel delays.

Your QUESTIONS :

Why do we have to pay in advance ?
First of all, it is great not to have to deal in $$ once you are on your vacations. The advance is necessary to hold tbe reservation for your charterin your specified areasand is insurance that the yacht will be in fine condition as to cleanliness , safety and is stocked to your wishes.

What's so great about crewed charters ?
The ultimate personalized vacation. The boat and crew are dedicated only to you and your guests.
You have a floating hotel which can change locations for every segment of the day..every day.
You only unpack once, yet travel to different locations.
Your schedule is flexible. The activities varied.
Surprisingly affordable becaue the boat is your home, your restaurant and your transportation for on-the-water travel.

I notice there is a big difference in rates per week even for similar sized boats ...
As with hotels, motels etc... there are all levels of accomodations in charter boats. It is a case you get what you pay for with varying levels of age, amenities, services, and crew expertise and experience. We can find boats that are comparable to 4 star hotels all the way down to basic hotel style charter boats. The common denominator is quality. We can certainly locate boats in your budget that will be of good value.
